Happy 18th Birthday Morgan!

Tomorrow May 21st is all about MORGAN! Morgan is my sister and she is celebrating her 18th birthday on Monday! She is also graduating high school next Saturday!!! What a BIG week for Morgan! Happy Birthday Morgan! I love you very much and I am so glad that we are sisters! I am so happy for you that you have almost crossed the finish line of high school! YIPPEE! I know that feels awesome. I am also super proud of you! I pray God's favor over you this next year and I pray that this is the best year so far!!! I love you Mo Mo.

Nothing exciting...

Well, I have been to the dentist this past week and had a tooth pulled and a tooth filled. I had fevers all night Thursday and all day Friday:( Then Saturday I felt much better:) We went to the Renaissance Festival to celebrate my sister in laws birthday. Lots of fun!!! (great pictures coming soon) Then Jason and I realized, yikes he is off work on Monday. This might be our only chance to visit my family in South GA. So we started to make plans to leave but of course there is always something tying me down. This time it is babysitting:( Well it is 5:15 in the morning and I can't sleep and I am still not sure what our plans are yet. Will we leave in a few hours or will we leave tonight or will we not go at all? It's all up in the air at this point. So, if we do go I will not be blogging for a few days. But I will have some cute pictures of Nora when I come back. See I told you it was nothing exciting!

Today's post is dedicated to Amanda in honor of her 30th birthday! Yes that's right her 30th birthday!!!

I just want to say thank you for being so awesome and so cool! I am so glad that we are neighbors so that we can finally really get to know each other. I have enjoyed the past few months together and I look forward to sharing our lives together as the girls grow and as other babies (?) grow. I pray that you have the perfect day, a day fit for a queen and that this would be your best year so far!

Cute story I read...

A teacher was discussing a picture of a family with her 1st grade class. One little boy in the picture had a different hair color than the other family members. One child suggested that he was adopted. A little girl excitedly wiggled her hand and exclaimed, "I know all about adoptions because I am adopted!" "What does it mean to be adopted?" asked another child. "It means," said the little girl, "that you grew in your mommy's heart instead of her tummy."

That is just so cute!

Curious Nora

After breakfast Nora played play dough for 2 whole hours! She like to make eggs out of play dough?! Then we changed into her favorite outfit of all. She calls this her Cinderella princess dress. Jason's Aunt Lori from New Jersey sent it to Nora for Christmas.

NO SCHOOL!!!

Today is my 1st day of NO SCHOOL!!! The summer has begun! I slept until 8:30:) Nora actually woke up, opened her door, opened my door, came into my room, stood at the side of my bed, and woke me up by clicking her tongue at me. That is the 1st time she has ever woke me up in my room. It was very funny.

So what did I do 1st on my 1st day off...

Finally, I'm connected with the rest of the world!!! Here is my very 1st blog...

Mother's Day 07'
We had such a nice mother's day today. I am just so thankful for the family God has put me in. Today I read Psalm 13 and the last verse says: I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me. When I think about how the Lord has dealt bountifully with me I think of my family. To me that is the most bountiful blessing God has given me. I am so thankful for my mom and all that she has sacrificed and suffered for me and my siblings. I am thankful for my Grandmothers and all the love and support they have given me through the years. I am so thankful for my mother- in- law and how she has shepherded me thorough the years. I am thankful to now have my own daughter to love and nurture in the Lord everyday. God has definitely dealt bountifully with me.

This is a picture of me at the Race for the Cure (Breast Cancer) this weekend. I walked in memory of my Great Grandmother, Granny Nipper and Jason's (my husband) Grandmama Ann. It was an awesome experience. I'm going to do it again next year!
