The End of Fall Ballet

Nora's last ballet class for the fall was this month. The teacher invited us all in for the last 15 min. of class so that we could see what they had learned. It was so very fun and cute! Here are some videos and pictures!

Thanksgiving Crafts

Here are our fabulous Thanksgiving Crafts we made yesterday and this morning!

Nora drew all the faces, necklaces and buttons.

Turkey bread basket.
Nora painted and drew the face on the turkey.
She also decorated some of the turkey feathers.

Side view of painted wings.

Turkey cupcakes! So cute!

We made two different types of turkey nap holders.

We had so much fun with our crafts. I got the turkey bread basket, turkey cupcakes and the Indians and Pilgrims from family fun. These should make our Thanksgiving table look great:)

Playing Catch Up

I am SO behind on my blog:( Today is the 1st day of our Thanksgiving break:), so I will attempt to catch everyone up!

Here is some of Nora's School Work from the past two weeks...

Yes, it says she is Thankful for "her sins"??? Her teacher told me that they asked her again but she told them the same thing so they wrote it. We have talked about sin but she is 3, so there is no telling what is in her little mind:) It's kinda funny:)

Last week was Nora's Thanksgiving performance at school. She is in the 3 year old class and they dressed like Indians. She sang "10 Little Indians", "Fall Fiesta", I'm Glad That I Live", "A Boy's Lunch" (from the Musical Bible), "God is Good, Good". She was very cute! Jason took a cute video of the performance (maybe he will put it on his blog?) and my mom took these pictures...
Before the show. Nora was so funny when she noticed Grammy, Nana and Grandmama. She told all her friends, "That's my Grammy, Nana and Grandmama." Then when Jason came in she told them "That's Miss Jason." She cracks me up!

So she didn't want to wear her hat on stage:( But she is still cute:)

That is the back of my head leading the little Indians.

She is making her Indian noise dramatically and everyone on the front is watching:)

What A Ham!

Yesterday was Nora's Thanksgiving party in her class. I got to be a part of this party and it was cute to see her in the class room setting. We sat at the little table and ate together and then they made a cute pine cone turkey.

Well, I have got to get off this computer now because Nora and I are having a Thanksgiving craft day! We are going to make crafts and turkey cupcakes in our PJ's today:) More pictures to come from this!

I hope your Thanksgiving is a blessed time with your family and friends!
Happy Thanksgiving!

38 days till we see you real soon!

Dec. 18-22nd we will be celebrating Christmas with Mickey and all the Princesses! YES we are actually going to Disney World for Christmas! The vacation is all paid for as of this week! Jason and I will celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary this Dec.14th so we thought it would be fun to go to Disney!!! Yes we are taking Nora along!

The very first day we are taking Nora to the Bippity Boppity Boutique in Cinderella's Castle to get her hair and nails done! We have already bought her some new princess dress just for this trip because the currents dresses she has all have holes in them. We are saving them as a surprise for the trip.

Also that night we will eat at the Grand Floridian with all the princesses!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!

Jason and I are so excited that we actually start to cry when we talk about it! WE CAN NOT WAIT!!!

This will be my 3rd time to go to Disney at Christmas and it is by far the most wonderful time to be in Disney! Everything that was magical already is even more magical at Christmas!

The first time I went to Disney at Christmas was my Junior year. Our chorus class went to sing in the Candle Light Processional in Epcot. It was such an unbelievable trip! I remember as we stood in line to enter the stage to sing the songs we had been practicing since the first day of school, my friends and I actually started crying because we couldn't believe what a BIG production it was. So cool! Then the second time I went at Christmas was for our honeymoon. That was a lot of fun to enjoy Disney with someone new and different then before. We had a blast! We even stopped in to watch the Candle Light Processional in Epcot and I still new every word and every part to each song that the new high school choirs sang. It was emotional that time as well. So this time we will defiantly take Nora to see and hear the real story of Christmas at the Candle Light Processional.

Did I mention that we CAN NOT WAIT!!!!

Happy 50th Birthday Uncle Johnny

On November 3rd we celebrated my Uncle Johnny's 50th birthday together!

Uncle Johnny as a baby.

No this is not a picture of the birthday boy. Usually this is a picture of Uncle Johnny when he was a teenager but Jason thought he would be funny and hang a new one over it.

Nora sitting with the birthday boy.

Present Time! Everyone brought a gag gift for him to open. You know "old people stuff".

My aunt made a bingo game for the party. It was a lot of fun to hear the stories
behind the card.

Nora loved the party!

Jason designed cute mugs for everyone at the party!
